At Riggles Gap Bible Church we have a heart for teenagers. We know that each day of their lives teenagers are faced with temptations and peer pressures to try to draw them away from God. It is our desire to raise up a generation of young people who will love and serve their God.
Paul exhorted Timothy to be an example of believers in six areas:
| Word | Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. – Psalm 19:14 | |
| Conversation | Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. – 1 Peter 3:16 | |
| Charity | And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. – 1 Peter 4:8 | |
| Spirit | For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. – 1 Corinthians 6:20 | |
| Faith | For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. – 1 John 5:4 | |
| Purity | Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. – 1 John 3:2-3 |
It is our desire at Riggles Gap Bible Church to see our teenagers be godly examples in these six areas as well.
Youth Opportunities:
Youth Meeting – Each Sunday evening at 6:00 we have a teen worship service which includes prayer groups, singing, preaching, and games.
Teen Bible Study – Each Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 we have a time of Bible reading and prayer. During this time we encourage teens to ask questions about God’s Word, Christian Doctrine, or Spiritual questions for everyday life!
Monthly Activities – At least once a month we have an activity to provide a means of godly fun and fellowship for our young people. To see our upcoming teen activities, click here!
